AVPnet Policies

Network policies

 AVPnet is a free service. We don’t charge anyone when connecting to our network. The network is run from sponsorship and by the admins who invest their own money. Therefore theadministration reserves the right to prevent any user from connecting to the network. A reason MAY or MAY NOT be given.
Harassment of any kind is totally prohibited here. We want our users to chat in a friendly environment where they can forget about their daily worries/problems.
Advertising/Spam for channels on AVPnet or other networks is NOT allowed. Severe actions can be taken against users found spamming for their channels or other networks. Spam for AVPnet on other networks is also NOT allowed and if admins from other networks complain with sufficient proof against a certain user who’s spamming FOR AVPnet, appropriate actions will be taken.
Illegal activities are NOT tolerated on AVPnet. These include but are not limited to: Nuking/ICMP Bombing, Trojans/Sub7s, Child porn or bestiality channels, Clones/Mass inviting/Flooding, Activities/Channels hostile towards AVPnet.
It is advised for people under the age of 13 to have adult supervision while using our service.
O-line beggars are not welcome on AVPnet. So if you are an IRCop wannabe this is not your place.

Enforcement Details - Akill

Reasons for an akill to be enforced are as follows:

·          Breaking any of the network rules/policies

·          Being abusive to any other fellow users or operators.

·          Abusing of network services

·          Doing illegal activities on the network

·          Channel filler bots or botnet

• Advertising for other networks
• Too Many Clones

Suspension of channels/Freezing of nicks

·          Channels found performing or supporting any kind of illegal activities as defined in the network policy will be automatically suspended with or without prior notification depending at the services administrator’s discretion.

·          Recently, channels are more being used for botnet purposes. This is totally unacceptable on AVPnet. Any botnet channels will be automatically suspended and the founder of such channels will have his nick frozen.

·          Nicks who are reported to be constantly abusing our services (any of them) will be frozen after an initial warning. This initial warning might be bypassed depending on the severity of the offence.

·          Channels found advertising for other networks will be automatically suspended and the founder’s nick might or might not be frozen at the same time.

·          On a final note, if you want your nicks or channels to be safe from being frozen or suspended then just abide to the AVPnet network rules and you will be just fine.
